Delete account and data

You can delete your yuKast account at any time. Deletion removes your access and anonymises or deletes the data associated with your account.

Delete individual content (without deleting your account)

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove content. You can delete your own Kasts and photos directly in the app at any time: open the relevant Kast and choose Delete. Your account remains intact.

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open yuKast and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deletion is carried out immediately.

Delete without the app (by email)

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email from the address registered to your account to:

legal@yukast.com — Subject: "Account deletion"

We confirm receipt and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Removed immediately: your login (auth account) and your profile. Your username is anonymised to "[deleted]".
• Your content (Kasts, photos, votes): made invisible to other users and no longer linked to your account.
• Backups & logs: technical backups are overwritten as part of our regular retention cycle.

Data we retain for legal reasons

Where required by law (e.g. for abuse prevention or to meet legal obligations), limited data may be retained beyond deletion. See our Privacy Policy for details.
